Narrated by Chris Martin
The Seeds of Yesterday is a documentary portraying courageous female survivors of war and ethnic cleansing, (mostly whom have been subjected to sexual abuse, slavery, enforced drug addiction and rape) in the process of healing from the devastating effects of this insidious crime. By exploring their intimate lives, our documentary is a powerful witness to the possibilities and hope for the victims and those speaking out to end the cycle of self-abuse, crime, and a life of turmoil and shame. However arduous the healing process, "The Seeds of Yesterday" illustrates that these sometimes forgotten victims of war can overcome silence and social stigmas related to sexual abuse, enforced slavery and drug addiction while leading fulfilling lives. The documentary is also a bold voice revealing the trials and tribulations of a whole generation of girls and women affected by this epidemic and their families and communities.
